Ashs can offer either spacious open plan, fully self contained units or comfortable self contained cabins and this is a popular choice for large and small fishing groups, national and international around Australia travellers, or simply as a relaxing holiday destination for singles and family groups. With sealed road access from Cairns and Mount Isa it means anyone can get here.

Ash's Holiday Units and Cafe offers world famous 'Gulf' fish and seafood from the cafe, and sells a large range of fishing tackle, bait, retail Gulf seafood including prawns and mud-crabs, essential supermarket and convenience items, clothing and souvenirs, visitor information centre with wireless internet and an internet kiosk. The friendly staff will assist with your charter and bus travel bookings or any other inquiries.

Cancellation Information:
Deposit for one nights rate is required by direct debit or credit card over the phone. Business bookings welcome and accounts an option. Cancellations 48 hours or more prior to arrival date receive 100 per cent refund.

How To Get There:
On reaching Normanton via either Savannah Way or Matilda Highway and byways - proceed to Karumba (70 kilometres) on approach to Karumba outskirts turn right to go to Karumba Point. Just before reaching coastline - Ash's is located on the corner to your left (corner of Palmer and Ward Streets). This is the only bitumen road access onto the Gulf of Carpentaria coastline - where the outback meets the sea.

These large rooms feature either six single beds or one queen and four single beds, suiting larger groups and families particularly. There is access from these rooms directly to the lawn, barbecue and pool area.
