The Longreach School of Distance Education is one of the largest classrooms in the world, providing education to the children of rural Australia.
The Parents and Citizens Association conducts tours of the centre giving visitors the opportunity to experience the School of the Air. Visitors can listen into an on-air telephone lesson and view some of the terrific schoolwork prepared by the students.

Open Times:
Tours at 0900 and 1030 Monday to Friday. Closed public holidays and Christmas school holidays.
