Located in the Binna Burra section of Lamington National Park, this circuit takes walkers through a fascinating variety of forest and heath. Dave's Creek Circuit descends through the head of Nixons Creek out into Dave's Creek country.
The track passes through several distinctive vegetation types: warm and cool subtropical rainforest along the Border Track; warm temperate rainforest containing many examples of ancient angiosperms such as coachwood in the Nixons Creek headwaters; and wet sclerophyll forest with giant New England ash around Nagarigoon clearing.

This is a relatively easy walk for those with a moderate level of fitness and bushwalking experience. Watch your step - the track is uneven and a bit slippery in places. The return steady climb can be tiring.

How to get There
Binna Burra is via Beechmont, about 95 kilometres or 1 hour 30 minutes drive from Brisbane, or less than an hour from the Gold Coast via Nerang. Take the Nerang turn off from the Pacific Highway (exit 71) and follow the signs to Beechmont and Binna Burra.
