Description
Rock-strewn, sandy beaches and hoop pine-dotted hillsides that plunge towards the sea contrast with sub-tropical rainforest and mangrove-fringed wetlands, making Cape Hillsborough one of the most scenic national parks along the Central Queensland coast.
The Yuibera Trail is a self-guiding trail highlighting the coastal way of life of the Yuibera Aboriginal people.

The track is located at Hidden Valley, 1.2 kilometres from the picnic area. You can walk or drive to Hidden Valley and the departure point for the Juipera plant trail. The dirt road to Hidden Valley begins at the southern end of the paved road.Walk Highlights

How To Get There:
From Mackay, travel north on the Bruce Highway for 20 kilometres and turn right into Seaforth Road. Travel a further 20 kilometres and turn right into Cape Hillsborough Road. It is then 10 kilometres to the main park entrance.
From Proserpine, take the Bruce Highway south and travel 79 kilometres to Mount Ossa. Turn left into the partly unsealed Mount Ossa Road and travel 15 kilometres towards Seaforth. Turn right into Seaforth Road then left into Cape Hillsborough Road. Drive another 10 kilometres to the main park entrance. Please note, the Mount Ossa road is not suitable for caravans. Caravan owners travelling from the north should continue to the sealed Seaforth Road, 20 kilometres north of Mackay.
