Thiess River 2 Reef Ride

The Thiess River 2 Reef Ride is a mass participation ride, not a race, to raise funds for two local charities - RACQ CQ Rescue and Mackay Sporting Wheelies and to encourage more people to become active and involved in cycling. Last year this event attracted 1,100 cyclists. In 2013, it is estimated that numbers will reach 1,500!

There are four distances to choose from: 35 kilometres, 60 kilometres, 90 kilometres or 135 kilometres. It finishes at the Blue Water Quay where breakfast food stalls will be operating - perfect for your friends and family to greet you when you cross the line.

The Thiess River 2 Reef Ride is a fantastic opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy the glorious scenery Mackay has to offer while raising money for worthwhile causes.
