The River Rock to Mountain Top Community Festival celebrates the communities of the Pioneer Valley and Eungella through a three day festival. Highlights are the Spectacular Lantern Parade, a free family night of entertainment including fireworks. Get yourself a battery illuminated Festival Mask! Many other events including sport, art and theatre are held over the weekend. Enjoy a friendly weekend from Eungella Range through the Pioneer Valley. You may even find a River Rock Cake! How To Get There
The Pioneer Valley is located west of Mackay in Central Queensland. Travel six and a half kilometres along the Peak Downs Highway from Mackay. Turn right onto the Mackay Eungella Road and travel 26 kilometres passing through Pleystowe and Marian townships to arrive at Mirani. Information is available at Melba House Visitor Information Centre.

Entry to most sub-events are free or a gold coin donation. The Charity Horse Ride costs AUD20.00 per rider.
