Discover a place where the rainforest and sea collide at Cape Hillsborough National Park. Trek through the distinctive sights, sounds and smells of the eucalyptus forest and try to spot a bright Blue Tiger Butterfly or the flash of a sugar glider. Sit and contemplate the ancient volcanic rhyolite boulders before venturing down to the beach for a meet and greet with the local wallabies enjoying sunrise on the sand.

Admire the natural history of Australia’s oldest sub-tropical rainforest, Eungella National Park, home to scores of unique flora and fauna. Become a part of the forest canopy and soar through the treetops with Forest Flying before ending your day with a splash into a rock pool. Be on the look out for the elusive platypus, or rare Orange-sided Skink. Nearby at Finch Hatton Gorge, spend the day wandering through the ancient rainforest before showering under the Araluen or Wheel of Fire waterfalls.
