The Premier Caravan Park is idyllically situated on the tropical coast of Central North Queensland, in the vibrant and stunningly picturesque resort city of Mackay. The park is nestled behind a motel creating a quiet haven for weary travellers, offering the option of staying on powered sites or in one of the 10 cabins set amongst a tropical setting. All the cabins have fully equipped kitchens and three of the cabins are self-contained with ensuite bathrooms.

The Premier Caravan Park is conveniently located whether you arrive in Mackay by plane, train or bus. They are two kilometres away and accessible from the highway and only walking distance to the Fourways shopping precinct for your every day needs. The park is also in walking distance of the public hospital, medical centre, pharmacy, and two kilometres from the city centre. Or take a five minute walk to the Mackay Regional Botanic gardens built on the banks of a magnificent waterway; see the diverse and spectacular flora and beautiful Australian natives and exotic plants from around the world.

The Premier Caravan Park belongs to the Dimidium Group of caravan parks currently consisting of 16 parks catering to workers, travellers, campers and tourists needing short or long term accommodation.
Mackay is a region rich in the wealth of Great Barrier Reef Islands and National Parks where you can walk through tropical jungle and view platypus in the wild, scenic hinterland drives, spectacular beaches, coastal rainforests, historic Eton and Homebush, and a lush sugar growing area.

If you are feeling hungry then across the road is the Shamrock Hotel or choose to dine in a variety of other restaurants or clubs all within walking distance. Or stay in the park, relax around the pool, soak up the friendly laid-back atmosphere, have a barbecue and enjoy the rainbow lorikeet feeding at 7.45 a.m. and again at 3.45 p.m.

How To Get There:
Arriving from the south, the Premier Caravan Park is after the second set of lights on your left opposite the Caltex Service Station. Arriving from the north after crossing the Pioneer River, turn right at lights, following the highway south to Sarina, turn right at second set of lights at Bridge Road, take your first turn left into Brooke Street, 50 metres on your left enter the rear of the park and follow the signs down to the office.
