The Gold Coast Film Fantastic is a dynamic four day event that features sports, fantasy and locally produced films. The event also features unique professionally led workshops, rare interactive opportunities and community based competitions.
The Gold Coast Film Fantastic was created by members of the community in an effort to strengthen the local film industry and broaden the cultural scope of cinema to audiences in the region. For six years, the event has showcased some of the finest fantasy programming available including the Southern Hemisphere premiere of Pan's Labyrinth two years ago.
This year, the organisers of the Gold Coast Film Fantastic decided to expand the focus of the event to include dynamic sports themed programming and new media based interactive opportunities.

Miscellaneous:
The Robina Community Centre is located adjacent to the Robina Town Shopping Centre. To get to the Robina Town Shopping Centre, if travelling southbound from Brisbane, take exit 79 or exit 82 from the Pacific Highway/M1 and follow the signs to the Robina Town Centre. If travelling northbound from Coolangatta or New South Wales, follow the signs to the Pacific Highway/M1 and take exit 82 and follow the signs to Robina Town Centre. If travelling westbound from the Gold Coast Highway, take either Markeri Street at Mermaid Beach, Christine Avenue at Miami, or Hooker Boulevard at Broadbeach and follow the signs to Robina. Robina Town Centre is located adjacent to the Robina Parkway.
