Wilson Island is located just above The Tropic of Capricorn, approximately 72 kilometres off the Queensland coast, northeast of Gladstone and 15 kilometres from nearby Heron Island.

Wilson Island is a small coral cay that is the Great Barrier Reef as nature intended. Those that are drawn to Wilson Island will enjoy the natural beauty of our Great Barrier Reef island, its seclusion and the freedom from modern-day living are part of the appeal.

How To Get There:
Wilson Island is a 40 minute boat ride from Heron Island. Transfer times between Heron and Wilson Island are subject to tide and weather conditions and may vary accordingly.
Access to Heron Island is via a 30 minute helicopter flight from the Gladstone Airport, or by launch service at the Gladstone Marina Ferry Terminal.
