Children: It's recommended that parents bring their own child seat, however Aussie Trax 4X4 Rentals do supply these.
Disabled: It is possible for some people in wheelchairs to travel in an Aussie Trax vehicle. Difficulty may arise however, when trying to visit certain Fraser Coast attractions as many are not wheelchair accessible. Customers in wheelchairs wishing to travel with Aussie Trax will mostly be enjoying their experience looking out the car window exploring Fraser's beautiful terrain by self drive.

More than 14 days notice of cancellation: no cancellation fee applies. Less than 14 days notice of cancellation: AID250.00 per vehicle package. Less than 72 hours notice of cancellation: full package cancellation fee applies.
All hirers have the four wheel drive operations explained to them in detail. Vehicles are for Fraser Island use only. Customers must be 21 years or over and hold a current drivers licence.
All customers booking Aussie Trax 4WD hire will be supplied with maps of Fraser Island, tide times, suggested itineraries and a comprehensive pre travel briefing. Hires are based on a calendar day (not 24 hours). All vehicles are insured and come with standard damage liabilities. There are waiver options to reduce the damage liabilities to a maximum of AUD500.00. Contact the operator for more information. Camping equipment is available for hire, contact the operator for more information. Briefings are available in written form for deaf clients. Customers must be in the Aussie Trax office two and a half hours before any ferry departure time.
Open 6.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. seven days a week.
All prices include Goods and Services Tax, unlimited kilometres and cleaning. Hirers take the car out full of fuel and are to return it full as well. Rates do not reduce any further after three days during school holidays. Please contact the operator for any other queries on further fees.
