Description

WetSide is a fun, free, eco-friendly attraction where residents and tourists can learn about water and its sustainable use.

As you walk around the timber boardwalks of WetSide Water Education Park you will literally encounter hundreds of water messages! They're easy to read and designed in a 'drip-feed' fashion. In fact learning about water at WetSide is a bit like osmosis. You'll absorb information without having to put in much effort at all !

The park includes a special area for under fives called TotSide and the FlipSide BoardRider wave machine (tickets are AUD5.00 from coffee shop staff). On Saturday nights the park sparkles with a light show approximately 30 minutes after sunset.

WetSide Water Education Park is located on the foreshore at Hervey Bay on the corner of the Esplanade and Main Street.

Opening times are as follows.
Winter Opening Hours (until 16 September 2011) Monday 1200-1700 [No water features and no staff on duty], Tuesday to Friday 1000-1700 [No water features and no staff on duty], Saturday 1000-end of show (Fountains operating).
