If you are looking for a new destination that's interesting, professionally presented and best of all offers a fabulous seafood lunch at country prices, then come and discover the Cherax Park 'Pond to Plate experience'.

The visit begins with an informative farm tour including a walk around the ponds, a tour of the grading, purging and packing facilities and information on Redclaw aquaculture. The tour is followed by a fantastic two-course seafood lunch including homemade dessert, tea/coffee all served on the verandah of beautiful modern Queenslander. Bookings are required for groups of 10 people or more.

How to get There

Coming from the south: On the Bruce Highway past Gympie take the Windsong Tea Gardens exit into Balkin Street. Continue 300 metres and take then turn right into Adrian Lane (Gunalda cemetery sign). Follow along 100 metres and turn right into Scrub Road at the Give Way sign. Follow along Scrub Road until you cross the railway line (approximately six kilometres). Turn right and continue past the Theebine Hotel to the T-intersection (2.5 kilometres). Turn left, continue 200 metres and take the first mailbox on your right. Coming form the north: On the Bruce Highway take the Kanyan Road turn off (approximately 22 kilometres from Tiaro). Follow the road, cross the railway line and go straight ahead. Turn at the first mailbox on your right.
