The Burrum Heads Easter Fishing Classic is a fantastic three-day fishing competition, running from Good Friday to Easter Sunday, with live and dead weigh-ins from Friday onwards. The Burrum Heads Easter Fishing Classic has been run continuously for 20 years without a break and Burrum Heads Amateur Fishing Club welcomes family anglers of all ages and skill, near and far to the annual Burrum Heads Easter Fishing Classic!
... moreOn Saturday and Sunday afternoon, there are plenty of prizes and give-aways for entrants, whether or not they weigh in fish, culminating in a major reverse draw on Sunday afternoon. During the weekend there are also plenty of raffles, and food and drinks are available.
A very popular kids clinic is held on Sunday morning with free give-aways and lots of fun!
The Easter Classic is a 'must do' event on the Fraser Coast and offers entertainment for all the family.

Please note that all entrants for the fishing and lucky draws must sign on and pay 4.00 p.m. Saturday. Early bird entry will be available prior to the event.
How To Get There:
Burrum Heads is approximately 35 kilometres north of Hervey Bay and 20 kilometres east of Torbanlea. On entering the town proceed past the small shopping centre and turn left into Ross Street. Travel down Ross Street until it intersects with Burrum Street and turn left. The Lions Park is directly ahead.
Inclusions:
Access by the public is free, registration in the fishing competition is adults $25 and children under 15 is $5 ample parking is available and free site is situated on the Burrum River.
