Imagine seeing a whale that is 35 foot long, the same length as the vessel and then 30 to 35 tonnes in weight, it is six or seven times that of the Blue Dolphin.
Carrying only a maximum of 22 people, your day on Blue Dolphin will be an intimate and personal tour. Take your time, slow down and take an enjoyable day to see the whales. Marine life abounds in the waters of Hervey Bay. So keep a look out for dolphins, turtles, dugongs and in the sky above for the different bird species. There are Indo-pacific humpback dolphins, Bottlenose dolphins and sometimes the Common dolphin. Along the beautiful beaches of the western side of Fraser Island an occasional dingo may be spotted searching for food.
Don't forget the other great tours. Come see the two dolphin species here in Hervey Bay or enjoy the only Champagne Sunset Sail experience on the Fraser Coast. The morning Dolphin tour is for four hours and is the only one available in Hervey Bay. Look for bottlenose and indo-pacific humpback dolphins and sail along Fraser Island.
Please note the vessel does not operate from 1 to 24 July and from 27 October to 6 November.
All cruises are subject to weather conditions.
