Children: Children are welcome and facilities for child car seats are available free of charge.
Miscellaneous:
A booking fee of AUD100.00 applies and is non-refundable unless three days notice is given. If a vehicle is damaged, found to be in a restricted area or driven dangerously, Bay 4WD reserves the right to cancel the hire contract and seek to return the vehicle into the company's possession.
All vehicles require drivers to be 21 years of age or over. Driving restrictions are as per Bay 4WD hire agreement. There are no minimum day hire requirements.
Hire rates are based on a calendar day. A AUD750.00 bond is required. Excess on vehicle hire is AUD5000.00, but can be reduced to AUD500.00 by payment of excess reduction insurance of AUD45.00 per day. Please contact Bay 4WD for further information.
Car: Follow the signs from the Bruce Highway into Hervey Bay. Bay 4WD is located on Boat Harbour Drive (your major entry road) on the left hand side. Just past the first set of traffic lights and your second roundabout. Look out for the bright orange and green flags! Plane: Flights are available directly into Hervey Bay via the Fraser Coast airport. Transfers from the airport are available and can be booked at the transfer desk on arrival.
Open 6.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. seven days a week.
All prices are in Australian Dollars and inclusive of Goods and Services Tax. Each vehicle is supplied full of fuel at commencement of hire and must be returned full of fuel. Cleaning of vehicles is included in the cost of vehicle hire unless the state of the vehicle requires extra time, where an extra cost may be incurred.
