The Bed and Breakfast is named after Cavour, the home town where the owner come from, in Piemonte, a north-Italian Region. The sundial pictured at the front of the house represent "La Rocca" and "La Fontana", two very significant and distinctive icons for Cavour.
At Villa Cavour you can experience a genuine region pietmontese cuisine, or try the home-made bread, "grissini" or pizza, fresh baked in the original wood fire oven. You can be involved in cooking classes, and share traditional dishes; the vegetable garden provides fresh products and herbs. The "Victoria Arduino" coffee machine make a perfect cappuccino or a short black coffee.

How To Get There:
By air: QantasLink has extensive daily flights from Brisbane to Hervey Bay. Virgin Blue operate a direct jet service from Sydney to Hervey Bay Airport.
From Hervey Bay Airport take Boral Road, then Elizabeth Street until you reach The Esplanade. Drive along to enjoy the view, heading in the direction of Point Vernon. Turn left onto Banksia Street and you will find Villa Cavour 50 metres up on the right.
By rail: Traveltrain Holidays operate a regular service from Brisbane, Rockhampton and Cairns to Maryborough West. Coach connection transfers to Hervey Bay connect with Bundaberg and Rockhampton Tilt Trains.
By bus: Greyhound, Premier and Tory's Tour operate daily from northbound and southbound.
By road: Take the Bruce Highway to Maryborough and then follow directions to Hervey Bay.
From Maryborough, when you reach Hervey Bay, look for The Esplanade and follow it to Banksia Street.

The three Standard rooms are upstairs and face the veranda as well as overlooking the swimming pool.

All rooms feature a comfortable king bed (latex mattress), private ensuite, air conditioning, mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities. There is a television/DVD player, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, and free wireless internet connection. Each room is distinguished by different colours: the red one - for passion; the green one - for relaxation; and the blue one - for dream.

The one or two single bed room is situated on the ground floor and also features air conditioning, private ensuites and tea and coffee facilities.
