Children: Children are welcome at the Emeraldene Inn, and with two acres of fenced gardens, set well away from road frontage, they have plenty of room to explore in safe surrounds. Bunk beds are available in the Family Apartments. Trundles available in their Deluxe Suites for extra children. Cots are available including linen, and a huge, turfed pool area provides plenty of fenced space for children.
Disabled: Two specially designed rooms are available for guests with a disability. They are self-contained, with free access bathroom, fold down shower seat, wheelchair friendly kitchenette with microwave, fridge, toaster and tea/coffee facilities. The rooms are designed to offer total independence; adjoining doors allow access to a second carers room if desired (extra room charge applies).
Miscellaneous:
Ample parking is available onsite. Extra parking is available if guests wish to leave vehicles whilst on tours - no charge. Very secure surrounds.
The Emeraldene Inn and Eco-Lodge is the first accommodation reached as you enter Hervey Bay from Maryborough. From Maryborough, turn right off Maryborough Road into Urraween Road, the first major cross section near the Tourist Information Centre. The Emeraldene Inn is approximately 700 metres on the right, opposite the Hospital. From town, head west on Main Street, then right onto Urraween Road. The Emeraldene Inn is approximately two kilometres on the left. Or head west on Nissen Street and then right onto Urraween Road. From the airport, the easiest option is to take the shuttle bus, which will drop you at the door. If driving, head towards town, turn left onto Boat Harbour Drive, left onto Main Street, then right onto Urraween Road.
