For centuries chamomile has been used for its calming and soothing properties and here at the Chamomile Bed and Breakfast, you will be able to rest, relax and recharge.

Set in a beautiful rainforest garden, Chamomile Bed and Breakfast is the ideal place to recharge in the garden spa, enjoy the peaceful sounds of the bird calls, or relax in the guest lounge with the use of television, videos, compact discs, books and games.

Enjoy afternoon tea on arrival and a delicious hearty breakfast served on the verandah in the morning. Stroll down to the Hervey Bay Marina and enjoy the sights and colour of the boats and people. Choose from the Heartsease room with queen bed, the Lemon Balm room with two king singles or Rose Retreat with queen bed and ensuite.

They offer a free booking service for any of your tours you may like to undertake, i.e. Fraser Island, Lady Elliot Island or whale watching trips.

Cancellation Information:
As Chamomile Bed and Breakfast is a small establishment, cancellations can impact on the daily operations. At the time of booking, credit card (Mastercard or Visa) details are requested to secure the booking. (You may prefer to pay cash on arrival to avoid credit card charges).
Cancellations must be made at least seven days prior to your arrival date otherwise 50 per cent of the room charge is debited from the credit card provided. Christmas, January, Easter, school holidays and long weekends need to be cancelled 14 days before arrival. A "no show" automatically attracts the full 100 per cent of total booking.

How To Get There:
Follow Boat Harbour Drive until you get to Elizabeth Street roundabout (Woolworths shopping centre on left). Turn left into Elizabeth Street, then second right into Miller Street. The property is 800 metres along on the right. Drive up driveway.

Heartsease Queen Bed

Heartsease is an essential part of any cottage garden. In ancient times it was firmly believed to be a potent herb used in love charms. Medicinally it is a healing herb used to treat migraines and to soothe and relieve pain.

Decorated in romantic and restful shades of blue and pink with white furniture, the air conditioned Heartsease room is the perfect place for a couple to relax.

The cast iron bed with roses looped over the bed-head recalls a less stressful era, while the candlelit shadows and rose scented sheets help to prepare you for a deep and restful sleep.

Lemon Balm (Twin King Single)

Lemon Balm is a lovely herb that is found in many gardens. Its fragrant lemon scent attracts bees and lifts spirits. Medicinally it is used to calm the nervous system and reduce stress. Lemon Balm tea taken at night helps ensure a good night's sleep.

The air conditioned Lemon Balm room is decorated in fresh shades of green and lemon reminiscent of the herb. The beautiful white, cast iron beds mean that you have plenty of room to stretch out and relax.

The Rose Retreat

The air conditioned Rose Retreat is truly a place for you to rest and relax. This light and airy room is decorated in restful shades of pink, cream and green. The rose theme is echoed in the traditional feature tiles in the ensuite and the lovely quilt and linen. Settle down in the white wicker rocking chairs to read a book, listen to a compact disc or perhaps watch one of the classic DVDs. In the morning your breakfast will be served on the verandah.

Medicinally, rose is soothing and cooling, promotes rest and sleep and is useful in the treatment of headaches.
