With views of World Heritage listed Fraser Island, or the Marina from your apartment, the Great Sandy Straits Marina Resort offers you uninterrupted views of Hervey Bay from sunrise to sunset. Each one, two and three bedroom apartment is furnished with kitchen, laundry facilities and direct dial telephones.
Relax in the sauna or cool off in one of the two swimming pools before having lunch on the barbecue terrace. For something more energetic, why not play a game of tennis. The children's playground is ideal and babysitting, cots and highchairs can also be arranged.

Children: Children are welcome. Children up to two years of age (inclusive) are free when using existing bedding. Cot charge is payable direct.
Disabled: Unfortunately disabled access is quite limited to some of their ground units whereby the wheelchair operator is required to access the unit through the back/side of the unit up one step.

Low Seasons: Cancellations outside seven days prior to travel - no cancellation fee. Cancellations within seven prior to arrival: For bookings of six nights and less, three nights cancellation fee applies. For bookings of seven nights or more, three nights cancellation fee applies for every seven nights booked (to a maximum of seven nights). Cancellation on day of travel or no show: three nights cancellation fee for every seven nights confirmed (to a maximum of seven nights).
Shoulder and Peak Seasons: Cancellation outside 14 days prior to travel - no cancellation fee. Cancellation within 14 days prior to arrival - 100 per cent cancellation fee (up to a maximum of seven nights). Cancellation on day of travel or no show - 100 per cent cancellation fee (up to a maximum of seven nights). Indy Season: Cancellation outside 30 days prior to arrival - no cancellation fee. Cancellation within 30 days prior to travel - 100 per cent cancellation fee - no refund. Cancellation on day of travel or no show - 100 per cent cancellation fee - no refund. Short Stays: 100 per cent cancellation fee (up to maximum of seven nights).
Minimum three night stays over public holiday weekends. Minimum five night stay over Christmas Day.
Flights come into Hervey Bay Airport. Road access is via Bruce Highway and through Hervey Bay by car, coach or train. From the Bruce Highway follow signs to Maryborough from south and to Hervey Bay from north. Head along Boat Harbour Drive, which eventually goes through to the boat harbour where the Resort is located.
Room rates do not include GST. Any additional items are subject to 10 per cent GST. Minimum night stays are enforced. You can book less than the minimum night stay but you will be charged the minimum night total. Extra person costs AUD35.00 per night. Cot hire is AUD44.00 per week. High chair hire is AUD35.00 per week.
