Lady Elliot is a true coral cay island, located at the southern tip of the Great Barrier Reef. The island is regarded as one of the best snorkelling and diving locations on the Great Barrier Reef and is famous for its unspoilt coral reef and amazing array of spectacular marine life! The Lady Elliot Island Day Tour provides guests with a unique opportunity to explore the reef from the air, the glass bottom boat and the water, all in one day!
The combined glass bottom boat/snorkel tour is the best way to explore the fascinating underwater world of brilliantly coloured species of marine life, including fish, coral, clams, sea stars, turtles, dolphins and manta rays. The Day Tour includes return scenic air flights, free use of snorkel equipment, combined glass bottom boat/snorkel tour, guided reef walk at low tide, use of day guest facilities and a delicious buffet lunch.
The Lady Elliot Island Day Tours depart daily from the Fraser Coast / Hervey Bay and Bundaberg. The Great Barrier Reef Day Tours also depart from the Gold Coast (Coolangatta), Brisbane (Redcliffe) and the Sunshine Coast (Maroochydore) making the Great Barrier Reef easily accessible to all.

Children: Children are welcome. The Junior Reef Rangers Club will entertain youngsters from five to 12 years of age during the Queensland and New South Wales school holidays, with a range of planned activities. Babysitting upon request and subject to availability. Children's prices available for accommodation and flights.

Day guests please be aware that Lady Elliot Island cannot be responsible for the weather. Should you choose not to travel due to weather conditions, Lady Elliot Island will be happy to postpone your trip to another date. If your travel plans do not allow you to postpone please contact reservations, as you may be eligible for a refund. Please be aware that weather conditions may vary whilst on the Island and water activities may result in cancellation. Please note, once day trip has commenced, 'No refund will be issued'.
Flights depart from Hervey Bay / Fraser Coast Airport (Lady Elliot Island check-in desk), Bundaberg Airport (Sunstate Airlines check-in desk), Sunshine Coast (Maroochydore), Brisbane (Redcliffe Airport) and the Gold Coast (Coolangatta).
Check in 30 minutes prior to departure. Ten kilograms luggage limit per person. Environmental Management Charge (EMC) of AUD5.00 per person/per day (Maximum three days is AUD15.00) is payable upon checkout.
Lady Elliot Island has her own private resort with facilities including four styles of accommodation, laundry, licensed dining room and bar, poolside bistro/bar, Padi Dive Centre, swimming pool, reef education centre/library, resort shop and showering facilities for day guests.
