The Capella Aquatic Centre opened in 1997 at a cost of more than two million dollars and is much more than just a swimming pool. In fact, it has five pools, a gymnasium, squash and picnic areas, as well as conference facilities and free electric barbecues. The swimming facilities, which are all solar heated, include a 50 metre Olympic pool, a learner's pool, a wading pool, a water slide and a hydrotherapy pool. The complex also offers a fully facilitated cafe for takeaway or dine in meals. Swimming lessons, squad and water aerobics are available at the property.

Open Times:
Open from 0600 until 1930 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Open from 0600 until 2030 Friday. Open from 0900 until 2030 Saturday. Open from 1000 until 1930 Sunday. Open from 1000 until 1800 public holidays. Closed Christmas Day and Good Friday. During winter the facility is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Open from 1030 until 1830 daily.

FURTHER INFORMATION
Children: Children are welcome. The childrens pool has a shaded area.
Disabled: Disability access. The facility has ramps into the venue and also ramps into the 50 metre pool. Disabled toilet facilities are available.
