Gladstone Backpackers is a small hostel which prides itself on its cleanliness and friendliness. Most of the rooms have recently been renovated and a great swimming pool area has been created. They wish each and every visitor to feel at home. Free tea and coffee, pick up and drop off, barbecue facilities and luggage storage. It is located within a five minute walk to the town centre, including cafe strip, museum, library, university, marina and information centre. Wireless internet is available.
Whilst in Gladstone you can do a day ferry trip to Curtis Island and Facing Island, catch the boat for an overnight stay at Heron Island or visit the great Tondoon Gardens. Gladstone has some wonderful events throughout the year including the Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race and a fabulous Seafood Festival, along with diverse country markets and free industry tours held weekly.

From Rockhampton turn left at first set of lights. Go around the roundabout and come back the way you were coming and travel up that road that goes to left up the hill (signposted).
