Description
Childers Art Space presents an exhibition titled Windfall. This exhibition uses plants and their products which have been harvested from private and public gardens often after storms. Occasionally the materials appear as the seasons change and the plants themselves discard the materials in preparation for another year.
The quintessentially domestic techniques of basketry and weaving which are much forgotten in a world where they are are more easily bought, have been used to create the works in Windfall. If you have visitors and are wondering where to take them over the Christmas holidays, go across to Childers and check out this very interesting exhibition.
