Port Festival incorporating the Port2Port Yacht Rally

Description

The Bundaberg Cruising Yacht Club will celebrate the arrival of at least 100 International and returning Australian yachts through the ""Port Festival"" at the Bundaberg Port Marina. The yachts joining the rally will sail in from the Pacific Islands, many of them on world cruises, arriving in Australia immediately prior to the cyclone season. Other yachts are returning Australians who have just completed Pacific cruises and world circumnavigations.

The festival welcomes the rally yachts as the international boats are first time visitors to Australia and many of the Australian yachts are first time visitors to Bundaberg. The club provides them with a very positive visitor experience and the public are invited to meet these real-life adventurers.

Children are able to play of the manicured lawns in the marina.

All facilities have level ground access for wheelchairs except for the marina berths.
