The Hinkler Hall of Aviation is Bundaberg's iconic tourist attraction and aviation adventure experience. More than a museum, the Hinkler Hall of Aviation celebrates pioneer solo aviator Bert Hinkler and the wonders of innovation, spirit and adventure.

Comprising a soaring exhibition hall, featuring various interactive displays, a flight simulator, the spectacular 'Globe Theatre', six display aircraft and the historic Hinkler House, the Hinkler Hall of Aviation, in the tropical surrounds of the Bundaberg Botanic Gardens, provides you with an enjoyable and interesting adventure, where you and your family become part of the story.

The Hinkler Hall of Aviation specialises in education and group tours, and have a comprehensive Education Program in place to help each student or group visitor get the most out of their visit to the Hinkler Hall of Aviation. Contact the friendly Reception team for more information, or for the current discounted rates for education and group tours, including add-on options for food and drinks at Cafe 1928, located on-site.

How To Get There:
The Hinkler Hall of Aviation is located in the Bundaberg Botanic Gardens, on the corner of Mount Perry Road and Young Street on the north side of the city. If visiting from the south, turn from Bourbong Street onto the Tallon Bridge and travel north until you turn left at the first roundabout then travel 100 metres where the Botanic Gardens are on your left. If visiting from the north, turn from Mount Perry Road into Young Street where the Botanic Gardens are on your right.
