Groups can join them in the winery for a first-hand 'grape to glass experience ' tour. Find out what a wine thief is and enjoy port directly from the barrel. Glass in hand, take in the waterlily-covered dam, green hills and a flash of rich, red volcanic soil. On the Bruce Highway 4.5 kilometres south of Childers, it is one of the four wineries in the Childers Wine Trail. Definitely a 'must visit' on your holiday planner!

How To Get There
Hill of Promise Winery and Cellar Door is in Mango Hill Drive which adjoins the Bruce Highway, 4.5 kilometres south of Childers township. Coming from the south, it is approximately five kilometres from the Isis River Bridge. Guests are asked to note that there is a no right hand turn into Mango Hill Drive from the southern approach.

Wine tasting at the cellar door for individuals, couples or groups of four to five, are free. Wine tasting at the Cellar Door for groups of 10 or more is AUD10.00 per person. Winery Experience 'Amongst the Barrels'- Talk, Tour and Tastings- for groups of 15 or more is AUD15.00 per person.
Hill of Promise Winery and Cellar Door is one of four wineries / cellar doors in the Childers Wine Trail. Hill of Promise Winery operators now have a distillery licence with distilling starting from July 2011.
