Drawing On Drysdale - An Albury Art Gallery Travelling Exhibition celebrates the centenary of Russell Drysdale's birth. Born in 1912 Russell Drysdale encouraged a new way of seeing the Australian landscape and the Australian people although he had impaired vision.
100 years later this exhibition explores the way that Drysdale viewed the world, and how he transferred his visions into works of art. Drawing on Drysdale brings together drawings, sketches, objects and writings into an exhibition that acknowledges one of the great Australian Artists of the 20th Century. This exhibition will be held in Gallery One.
