It's no surprise that much of the adventure and sports activities in Bundaberg North Burnett are centred on water. You can choose to be in it by diving, snorkelling or swimming around the corals and marine life of the Southern Great Barrier Reef. Or, take to the surface and go sailing or boating in the Coral Sea or up one of the local rivers.
Fishing enthusiasts are also well catered for with a wide variety of reef, dam and beach fishing. Go on a charter out to the reef or stay close to shore and fish one of the Barramundi holes the region is famous for.
4WD enthusiasts can test their skills around the rocks pools at Coongara Rock and Falls, the rugged tracks at Goodnight Scrub National Park or enjoy 20kms of beach 4WDing along Norval Park Beach. There are also beach access tracks at Woodgate and Burrum Point
