Brisbane Airport is located 13 kilometres (eight miles) northeast of Brisbane's city centre. Coachtrans bus service conducts regular services to and from the city, railway station and between domestic and international terminals. Transfer time is approximately 35 minutes. Airport coach transfers from Brisbane to the Gold Coast take about 90 minutes. Taxis and car rental are also available. Public car parking, both long and short term, is available at the entrance to both terminals. Baggage trolleys are available at the International Terminal at no charge in the baggage retrieval area.

The Airtrain Citylink passenger rail service links Brisbane's international and domestic terminals with the Brisbane central business district and the Gold Coast. Brisbane Airport offers a variety of restaurant and bar facilities as well as postal, shopping and duty free shopping facilities.
