Advantage Rent A Car is the eighty largest car rental company in the United States. In 2001, it attained worldwide presence by launching an affiliate partnership program that has grown to an international network serving more than 33 countries. In Australia, Advantage customers are serviced by Red Spot Rentals, an Australian owned and operated company. Red Spot has Terminal desks in Cairns, Brisbane and Gold Coast Airports and is represented at most other Australian capital city airports.
Red Spot pioneered the all-inclusive rental rate, which provides a zero damage liability along with unlimited kilometres and all fees and charges. Stand-by rates are also available for website bookers.
Offering only new cars, Red Spot has a range of medium and large sedans including hatchbacks, sports utility vehicles and people movers. Additional services such as child and baby seats, satellite navigation, systems and toll road passes are available for a daily fee.

Vehicles are not allowed to drive into Western Australia (except when rented in Perth when the area of use is limited to no further north that Carnarvon or east than Kalgoorlie) or Northern Territory, nor on unsealed roads or above the snow line in winter.
All rates and vehicle classes include: Collison Damage Waiver (with a AUD3300.00 hire damage liability), Goods and Services Tax (GST), Stamp Duty, additional drivers, vehicles less than 12 months old, free hotel delivery within a five kilometre radius of downtown rental depots, RRF - Vehicle Registration Recovery Fee and PLF - Premium location fee for rentals at airport locations.
All rates and vehicle classes exclude: One way rental Drop Fee (note one way rentals are only permitted on CCAR and FCAR classes. One way rentals are on a request basis). Child seats (optional) AUD16.50 per day maximum and AUD82.50 per rental. Liability reduction options are no included. Note that the minimum driver age is 21 years (note drivers between 21 and 24 years of age are only permitted to drive CCAR class vehicles). Drivers under the age of 25 pay a fee of AUD22.00 per day.
