In the 1980s Boggo Road Gaol made national headlines following a series of dramatic escapes, hunger strikes, riots and rooftop protests. Long before, generations of Brisbanites looked up in fear at the prison's great red brick walls and towers - ""Boggo"" was one of Australia's most notorious Prisons.
Number Two Division is the only remaining section of Boggo Road Gaol, and is heritage listed. Most of its secrets are yet to be revealed.

Historical Tours
Far from your average guided tour, Historical Tours are designed to reveal the inside story of Boggo Road Gaol by escorting visitors through the only remaining section - Number Two Division - the scene of riots and roof-top protests in the 1980s.
Their enthusiastic tour guides aim to deliver and experience - interactive, educational and real - the stories they share come from those who experienced it - former inmates, prisoners, officers and staff.
This 1 and a half hour PG rated guided tour takes in the gatehouse, yards, the Circle and ends with time to explore one of the original cellblocks.
