A dining institution in Brisbane, Baguette Bistro and Bar has just undergone a major renovation and has been re-born as an upmarket French bistro. Think black acid washed marble floors, old french doors, stunning new lighting, banquettes and wine racks. Celebrated Chef Bruno Loubet (who won his own Michelin star in London) has put together a menu of classic French regional dishes, as well as some contemporary dishes. The Lounge Bar is a very civilised place with top cocktails, good wines by the glass and it is a great place to watch the world go by in trendy Racecourse Road.

Baguette has recently won 'Best Informal Restaurant in Queensland' (Restaurant and Catering Awards for Excellence), two star rating in Courier Mail Food and Wine Guide and Gourmet Traveller rates Baguette as one of the best 100 restaurants in Australia.

It is eight minutes from the Central Business District, on the way to Brisbane Airport.
