Cancellation Information:
Cancellation of tour with more than 48 hours notice incurs no cancellation fee. Cancellation of tour within 48 hours of departure will incur a 20 per cent cancellation fee. Cancellation of tour within 24 hours of departure will incur full payment of fare. All tour bookings are secured by credit card only.

However due to the extreme nature of Fraser Island, Rainbow Beach, and the Agnes Water Coastline, and weather unpredictability in general, some activities are subject to tide, time, and weather factors, and Sunset Safaris can not be held liable due to these factors.

The Australian Sunset Safaris buses offer the perfect balance between small four-wheel drive personalisation, and big bus comfort. They have a fleet of seven four wheel drive vehicles ranging from a brand new big bus, which holds 36 passengers, to a small but comfortable forward facing troop carrier. Australian Sunset Safaris can now cater for 120 pax at a time. Their award-nominated tour guides are tour professionals, with an intimate knowledge of Fraser Island and the Great Barrier Reef. All Sunset Safaris tour guides are required to have a PHD in Fun-ology, so when you party, they party with you!

Tariff Information:
Please note there is a AUD20.00 per person per tour surcharge for all public holiday periods, including Easter, and 24 December through to1 January inclusive.
A fuel levy may be applied if fuel rises above AUD1.80 per litre.

Five or Six Day Joined Fraser Island and Great Barrier Reef Tour

Due to different departure days, the five-day package and six-day packages allow for the choice of the unique Great Barrier Reef experience first, or the truly awesome Fraser Island experience. They can be done one after the other or separated allowing the guest to choose the itinerary that works best for them.

Five-day Package tours start with either the two-day Fraser Island Tour or the three-day Great Barrier Reef Tour.

Six-day Package tours start with either the three-day Fraser Island Tour or the three-day Great Barrier Reef Tour.

These tours include a one night stay in Rainbow Beach between tours.

Tour inclusions are those outlined in the Fraser Island and Great Barrier Reef Tours. During the transition between tours, there is a one-night stay in Rainbow Beach (dinner will not be supplied). Fraser Island trip as first tour: The Premier Bus will depart at 7.40 a.m. from the front of Dingoes Backpackers and drop off at Matilda Truck stop where you will meet the Great Barrier Reef bus. Sunset Safaris will pick you up at 9. 40 a.m. Great Barrier Reef tour first: The Premier Bus will meet you at the Matilda Truck Stop and drop you off in front of Dingoes Backpackers in Rainbow Beach. Sunset Safaris will pick you up at the same location at 11.30 a.m. the next morning.
Five-Day Package: Price does not include an additional AUD190.00 Boat Access Fees and Reef Tax and National Park Access Fees (to be paid to the driver in cash upon departure). The Great Barrier Reef Tour

Snorkelling and optional activities are available at Lady Musgrave Island. There is a stop in Bundaberg on day one and day three for lunch.
Price does not include AUD150.00 for the Boat Access and Reef Tax for a three day permit.
