This huge garden contains over 5,000 plant species from around the world and offers a number of delightful walking trails with spectacular views. On the Aboriginal art trail you will find fascinating tree carvings and rock paintings. Families will enjoy the astronomy programs offered at the Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium located within the Gardens.

How To Get There

From west - take the Western Freeway to the Toowong roundabout.

From south/east - take the South East freeway until it turns in Coronation Drive.

From north - take Kelvin Grove Road or the Inner City Bypass to Hale Street. Follow Hale Street until it reaches Coronation Drive.

Must See and Do

Visit two of Brisbane's most famous, heritage-listed hotels - the Regatta Hotel and the Royal Exchange (RE) Hotel.

Visit Toowong Village and indulge in some retail therapy.

Take a stroll along the river side, and end up in Brisbane City.
