There are over 1,000 stores to choose from in the famous Queen Street Mall, plus it's surrounding streets Adelaide, Edward and Elizabeth. Offering the State's largest collection of flagship stores and unique boutiques, truly making The City Queensland's premier shopping destination.

Once you tear yourself away from shopping you'll discover the largest collection of Good Food Guide-awarded restaurants, cafes and bars in Queensland, there are hundreds of options to whet your palette.

You won't find it hard amusing yourself in The City. There's The City Sounds program - Australia's largest free music program showcasing Brisbane's emerging and established music talent across the Central Business District every week. Getting around The City is an effortless journey due to its compact nature. With major attractions, restaurants and hotels clustered around the river peninsula, Brisbane is most easily explored on foot with the streets laid out in a grid-like system, leaving little chance for disorientation.

How To Get There:
Brisbane is in the southeast corner of Queensland, Australia, approximately a 60 minute drive north of the Gold Coast.
Air The Brisbane domestic and international airports are located 30 minutes from the city centre and are accessible via several public transport options. The terminals are located adjacent to each other and are connected to the city via rail, bus and taxi.
There are regular flights between all major airports like Sydney and Melbourne to Brisbane every day.
Train The Sunlander and Tilt Train link Brisbane to centres along the Queensland coast including the Whitsundays and Cairns. Queensland Rail services access regional areas including the Outback from Brisbane.
Road Greyhound Coaches, Yellow Cabs and Black and White Taxis offer transfers from both airports to the city centre and Gold Coast. For private transfers to any destination around Brisbane and beyond, there are a number of chauffeur car companies available to provide efficient and comfortable services.

2 Cruise the River See Brisbane from a different angle aboard one of the many river cruises.

4 South Bank Parklands Family-friendly parklands feature 17 hectares of lush gardens, riverside cycling and walking paths, vibrant shopping and the only inner city beach in Australia.
5 Adventure Climb The Story Bridge is one of only three bridge climbs in the world.
6 Mt Coot-tha Lookout This lookout provides amazing views of Brisbane all the way to Moreton Bay.
7 Explore the Arts Explore the Queensland cultural precinct - home to the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Queensland Art Gallery, Gallery of Modern Art, State Library and the Queensland Museum.
8 Adventure Centre Kayak and rock climb or abseil down the Kangaroo Point Cliffs with Riverlife Adventure Centre.
9 XXXX Brewery Taste our local favourite brew and learn about its origins at the XXXX Brewery Ale House.
10 Live Gig in the Valley Catch live music in Australia's first dedicated special entertainment precinct, Fortitude Valley.
