Imagine the view from the top of the Story Bridge. Sun glistening on the city skyline, the river bending away from you in both directions, and sandy islands in the distance bobbing out of the aqua blue ocean; sounds like the best view in the house. It is, so make sure you experience it on the Story Bridge Adventure Climb. You will hardly notice a thing in this moment with all of Brisbane spread out before you.
Also at Kangaroo Point, you can climb and abseil the ancient Kangaroo Point Cliffs or explore the river on a kayak or stand up paddle board. Afterwards let your body relax with a sunset BBQ on the cliffs or a riverside walk or cycle into South Bank.
There are adventures aplenty on a daytrip to Brisbane’s surrounding regions. Put yourself to the challenge with a rockclimb at Mt French in the Scenic Rim or take to the air in a hot air balloon or helicopter over the region. Feel the wind in your hair as you fly down the world’s tallest sand dune Mt Tempest on Moreton Island, clinging to a sand board or on a skydive landing on the beach or in the Country Valleys. Or learn to surf or dive on North Stradbroke Island.
There's an adventure waiting for you, if you know where to look.
