The eighth Post Equinox Skydiving Festival, or Boogie, is to be held at the Ramblers parachute drop zone at Toogoolawah on the Brisbane Valley in October. The festival will attract skydivers from around the world and across Australia to participate in this unique nine day skydiving adventure and entertainment experience.
All facets of skydiving and parachuting will take place including group freefall, birdman flocking jumps, freestyle skydiving and parachute landings, formation aeroplane flights, helicopter jumps, night jumps and for any spectators, tandem skydives. Entry to the festival is free for spectators but there is a fee for the tandems.
During the day parachuting and skydiving will be taking place non-stop. It will even continue into the evening with the night sky being lit up with free falling ""Meteor Men"". The evening's entertainment will include day tapes of the day's jumping, huge raffle prizes and musical bands and talent quests.

The Equinox Skydiving Boogie is considered the most popular skydiving event on the Australian skydiving calendar and is on every Aussie jumper's wish list. It is also recognised overseas as Australia's premium international skydiving event and the one to visit Australia for. Spectators are welcome.
Ramblers are located around one hour and 30 minutes north-west of Brisbane, and 15 minutes north of Esk and around two kilometres from Toogoolawah on the western side of the 7353 Brisbane Valley Highway.
From Brisbane and the Gold Coast, take the Ipswich motorway. Then take the Ipswich Bypass and turn right at the Brisbane Valley Highway. Follow the highway all the way to Toogoolawah, passing Fernvale and then Esk on the way. From the Sunshine Coast, take the Steve Irwin Way, turn off at Beerwah, turn right at the Kilcoy/Woodford T-intersection, pass through Kilcoy, turn left at the Brisbane Valley Highway (immediately after crossing the Brisbane River). Turn right at the Ramblers Parachute Drop zone sign.
Admission is free to spectators during daylight hours. There is no admission to the general public after jumping finishes and after dark. Admission is available under certain conditions.
