The Royal Queensland Show, affectionately known as the EkkA, is Queensland's largest annual event. With a heritage spanning over 132 years, EkkA is held at Brisbane's RNA Showgrounds for 10 days every August. This year's EkkA will be the 132nd anniversary of the first show.
Each year it engenders immense community spirit and excitement across industry, school and community groups, neighbours, friends and family as they prepare their competition entries, practise their dance routines and performances and plan their day at EkkA.
Come along and see the exhibitions and pavilions including Animal Boulevard, Fresh Food Pavilion, John Reid Wool Pavilion, and the Dog Pavilion. They will be parades and of course, the rides and side shows.

Take the train northbound of Brisbane's Central Station. Get off at the 'exhibition' station and enter the gates to EkkA. The train will stop at this station for the ten days of EkkA, train tickets may be purchased upon entry or through Queensland Rail.
