Cancellation Policy
If cancellation is prior to seven days before intended stay then amount paid is fully refundable less handling and administration fee. If notice of 24 hours or less is given, then fee will be loss of deposit and/or tariff.

General Comments
Situated at the northern tip of the Island, Point Lookout is Queensland's most easterly point. The township is located 20 kilometres from Dunwich. Point Lookout is actually a series of beaches and headlands that can easily be explored by foot although a car is recommended to fully enjoy all the Islands beauty. Point Lookout boasts outstanding surfing beaches and spectacular seascape views. There is a range of relaxed outdoor cafes and eateries at Point Lookout and all normal services and facilities are available. Shops, schools, churches, police, hotel, clubs, doctors, ambulance and fire are all available on the island.

It is a popular holiday location for families, couples and adventure seekers alike. Enjoy Stradbroke Island's National Parks with freshwater lakes, lagoons and native flora and fauna. Stradbroke offers a host of attractions including diving at unique manta ray spots. Lawn bowls is available at Point Lookout as is a golf club at Dunwich. Other activities such as sea kayaking, sand boarding and four wheel drive beach and lake adventures or fishing trips are popular and all tours can be arranged through the resort's office.
How To Get There
Access to the property is by vehicle barge or water taxi, from the mainland, connecting to car, taxi, train or bus. Please contact the operator for more details.
Please contact reception if you are travelling without a vehicle so that arrangements can be made for pick up from the bus stop at George Nothling Drive as they are high on a hill and not on the bus route. The hill is quite steep and not easy to walk up especially with luggage.
Once in Dunwich on the bay side of the island where the vehicle barge and water taxi arrive, follow the main road towards Point Lookout which will take approximately 20 minutes. Point Lookout is a sprawling township and once you are in Point Lookout you will need to turn right in George Nothling Drive (also four wheel drive access to Main Beach) which is after the Bowls Club. Follow this divided road for 300 metres. Turn right into Cumming Parade. You will see Pandanus Palms Resort on the right side just after Roseby Court, 150 metres up the hill.
Open Times
Reception is open from 0830 to 1700 Monday to Friday, 0830 to 1500 Saturday and 0830 to 1300 Sunday.
