Mary Ann's Cottage is among the last of the early settler's cottages in the Moreton Bay Region.
Built in the late 1870s, the cottage has been painstakingly restored to offer a glimpse of a by-gone era with modern amenities discreetly updated so as not to detract from the Victorian ambience.
... moreMary Ann's Cottage is set in 12 acres of riparian rainforest bordering the Burpengary Creek in an area that used to be known as Upper Caboolture and has direct links to the first free settlers in the Colony of Moreton Bay.
Mary Ann's Cottage ticks all the boxes for discerning guests wishing to reconnect with life at a slower pace. In winter the fireplace, with its original handmade bricks, casts a rosy glow; in summer, nothing beats relaxing on the verandah, glass in hand, whilst taking in the free floorshow put on by the visiting wildlife.
