The Blue Ocean View Beach House is a privately owned house situated on the hill within the Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort on Moreton Island. Guests have full use of the many resort facilities and activities but are just isolated enough to enjoy the tranquillity, cool breezes and gorgeous panorama of Moreton Bay and Moreton Island. You could not wish for anything more in this unique, beautiful bay side paradise, where relaxing is an art form and the word stress does not exist.
The views from the Blue Beach House span uninterrupted over Moreton Bay from Brisbane to the Glasshouse Mountains and beyond. You'll see many ships and yachts meandering through Moreton Bay either making their way to the ocean or back to Brisbane. The mysterious shipwrecks of Moreton Island are also in full view from the large deck at the front of the Beach House. It's a truly magnificent sight.

Whilst guests of the Blue Ocean View Beach House have full access to the Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort facilities and activities, the Dolphin feeding is not included as it is restricted and part of the resort's Eco program. However, if it is not busy then guests can enquire.
Take either the miCat Passenger and Vehicle Ferry (drop off at Tangalooma Wrecks) or the Tangalooma Flyer Passenger Ferry (drop off at Resort Jetty) to Moreton Island. The house is situated just above but within the grounds of Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort. If arriving on the ferry with your vehicle, just drive around the Tangalooma Bypass Road to the security gate of Tangalooma Bayview Estate. Alternatively, transfers from both ferries directly to the Blue Ocean View Beach House can be arranged.
