How To Get There:
Whether travelling by car or on foot, you can easily get to the Anchorage on beautiful North Stradbroke Island by departing from the ferry terminal located in Emmett Drive, Cleveland (at end of Middle Street).
Travellers who are not bringing a vehicle, simply drive or take a taxi to Cleveland or use the Airtrain from the airport to Central Station. From Central Station hop on the Cleveland train line (Pink signage) and go to the Cleveland stop. From there, there are local buses to take you to the ferry terminal where you can hop on the Straddie Flyer Water Taxi which will bring you to North Stradbroke Island. The island bus service will be waiting to bring you to Anchorage's door.
If bringing a car, then Anchorage can take care of your travel on either of the two vehicle ferry companies that operate from Cleveland.
Local hints: It usually works out cheaper to go via taxi from the airport if there are two or more of you travelling together; and 2. As Anchorage buy in bulk, they can arrange the vehicle ferry at a discount price which they pass on to you.

Most have extensive ocean views or view the surf rolling into the shore through a thin bank of trees. Units come with Foxtel, separate bathroom and spacious kitchenettes which includes hot plate, microwave, kettle, toaster and all crockery, cutlery and glassware. Most have extensive ocean views or view the surf rolling into the shore through a thin bank of trees. Units are equipped with Foxtel, full kitchen facilities including cooking pots/pans and all crockery, cutlery and glassware. One Bedroom Units come with separate bathroom. All One Bedroom Units have Queen beds. Some units have their own washing machine and dryer as well as dishwasher.
