Among the gums is nestled at the base of Mount Greville at Moogerah in the Scenic Rim. This three bedroom uniquely designed fully self-contained house is beautifully appointed throughout with sleeping for seven. Among the Gums is set on a 34 acre property right next door to Mount Greville National Park. It is a secluded and private retreat with amazing views to The Great Divide and Mount Moon. Relax on the huge veranda where you can enjoy the views as wildlife passes by. For those cold nights you can enjoy the fireplace inside. Whether you desire a romantic weekend away for a couple or just a great place to get together with a few friends, Among the Gums has all you require for a wonderful escape.

You can go bushwalking right next door in the national park walking trails, or Moogerah Dam is only five minutes drive so you may even wish to go fishing or water skiing. The townships of Boonah, Kalbar, and Aratula are all close by there you will find antique stores, wineries, coffee shops, fruit markets, art galleries and much more.

Further Details:
The deck runs along the full length of the house with four sets of sliding doors in the main living area you always can enjoy the views. Ceiling fans circulate the breezes and a fireplace is there for those cold winter nights. A barbecue and outdoor setting make this veranda a great place to relax.
Take a walk around the property and enjoy the serenity. If you are up to something more strenuous go next door to the Mount Greville walking tracks, part of the Moogerah Peaks National Park. Two wineries are within a 15 minutes drive away.

How To Get There:
From Brisbane take the Cunningham Highway (towards Warwick). Five kilometres past Aratula turn left into Lake Moogerah Road. Stay on this road for about 12 kilometres. It turns to dirt but don't turn until you come to Mount Greville Road where you turn right.

Please note that on public holidays, long weekends and school holidays there will be a 10 per cent surcharge, please contact the operator for further details.
Over the winter months, there will be an additional AUD25.00 once only charge to cover the supply of firewood.

Among the Gums Holiday House

The formal themed master bedroom has a queen-size bedroom suite, containing bedside lamps, clock and beautiful bedding in a warm, rich colour scheme with heaps of pillows. You can even stretch out in the bed and enjoy the views through the large sliding doors which open onto the deck.

The second room is an oriental themed double bedroom, also featuring views out through the windows. It contains bedside lamps and oriental themed bedding and furnishings.

Bedroom three consists of one single bed and a set of bunk beds sleeping three people altogether, with a modern theme in chocolate and blue.

All bedrooms are carpeted, each containing innerspring mattresses, doonas and doonas covers, blankets, pillows, mattress and pillow protectors and ceiling fans for those warm nights.
