Unit accommodation is available at Salonika Beach at the southern end which also has a licensed restaurant. At Salonika Beach there are sea eagles, rare sightings of loggerhead turtles, echidnas, bush turkeys and on occasion, seasonal whales and dolphins.

Salonika also gives you easy access to Hay Point and Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal complex which is the largest coal export facility in the Southern Hemisphere, with a total capacity of over 50 million tonnes per annum, all of this can be seen from a nearby viewing gallery.
