One hour east of Brisbane and 75 minutes north of the Gold Coast and 15 minutes by ferry from Redland Bay, Yarrandabbi is a tranquil sanctuary from stress and the city. The gentle lapping of waves on the shore and birdsong will soothe tired souls. This is an idyllic, adults only retreat for special occasions where happy memories are celebrated and made!

Linger and enjoy delicious, chef prepared, a la carte breakfasts on the dining deck overlooking the 12 metre pool and Moreton Bay. Use their bikes and three person canoes to explore. Play golf, bowls or charter a fishing cruise. Absorb the relaxation, wildlife and views to Stradbroke Island, whilst enjoying a 'Sundowner', at the Deck Bar. Retire after port and chocolates, to beautifully furnished, spacious bedrooms, with double spa en-suites, private patios, television/DVD, movies, air-conditioning, adjoining guests' lounge and kitchenette.

Yarrandabbi Dreaming Bed and Breakfast Retreat is on Brisbane's doorstep, yet a world away! It is a spacious modern Australian retreat in unspoilt native garden surrounds, set on a peaceful Bay where dugong, dolphin, turtle and other sea-life are frequently observed. Take their canoe, swim, fish, or relax on our beach, or swimming pool, or explore the island on foot or their bikes.
They happily cater to all dietary requirements as well as group dinner parties by prior arrangement. This is an ideal location for small 'get-togethers', reunions and birthday celebrations. Their perm culture designed vegetable and fruit gardens are organic, cleaning regime is toxic free, waste disposal, heating/cooling systems and modern, purpose built building design are all certified and environmentally sustainable.
Being on acreage, there are a number of 'escape' areas which guests may enjoy; yet, hosts, Trevor and Yvonne welcome conviviality if guests' so choose.

How To Get There:
Drive 30 kilometres east from Brisbane or approximately 50 kilometres north from the Gold Coast to Weinam Creek Passenger Ferry Terminal, Southern Banana Street at Redland Bay. Purchase your return ticket there. The Bay Islands Transit System (BITS) Waterbus operates approximately half hourly and takes 15 minutes across calm inner Moreton Bay waters to Macleay Island, cost approximately AUD14.50 Return.
Alternatively (Stradbroke Ferries) Bay Islander Vehicular Barge, departing from Northern Banana Street wharf, has approximately eight departures daily and takes 45 minutes. Special package discount rates apply to the normal return barge cost of around AUD100.00 return (arranged through Yarrandabbi).

Best quality linen and soft furnishings are provided, along with Egyptian towelling bath robes and a pillow menu. Television, DVD, radio, CD player, CDs and DVD movies are all provided.

The ensuite, generous marble double spa bathroom is equipped with excellent guests' amenities, hair drier, quality towel selection and pool towels. Floor to ceiling glass sliding doors allow access to the guests' private furnished patio, then to the gardens, pool and waterfront and wonderful bay views.
