Weekdays 0830-1730; Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays 0830-1500.
Children are welcome at the property. Children to be supervised by adults at all times. Facilities available include games room, indoor and outdoor pools, and gymnasium. All require security key access.
In Low Season when a booking is cancelled within 14 days of the arrival date, the guest will forfeit his/her full deposit.
In High Season when a booking is cancelled within 28 days of the arrival date, the guest will forfeit his/her full deposit and all other monies.
If dates of stay have been altered prior to the cancellation of a booking the guest will forfeit his/her full deposit.
All guests are required to provide credit card details on arrival to cover any miscellaneous charges. Where a credit card is not available a AUD200 cash deposit will be required in which case the apartment will be checked by Management before the cash deposit is given back to the guest.
Cleanliness/Damages to Apartments
Guests are required to leave apartments in a clean manner or at the discretion of Management, you may be charged for extra cleaning. Guests will be held liable for any damage to or losses within the apartment.
Apartment Cleaning/Servicing Departure Clean - Occurs after all stays regardless of length of stay. Weekly Service - Occurs once only during a 7 plus night stay and every week thereafter and includes the replenishing of linen. *Daily Service - not included in offered rates unless previously arranged.
All guests of Xanadu Resort are required to agree to, and are bound by, the following terms and conditions:
Tariffs/Deposits and Payment
Tariffs are subject to change without notice. Where a booking has been confirmed by the receipt of a deposit, the tariff quoted will be honoured.
High Season: A minimum stay of 5 nights will apply
Mid Season: A minimum stay of 3 nights will apply
Low Season: No minimum stay applies
Booking Confirmation Fee
High Season: A deposit of AUD500 or 10 per cent of total accommodation (whichever is greater) will apply
Mid/Low Season: A valid credit card will be required.
Payments can be made via credit card, cash, bank transfer or EFTPOS
Payments made by Amex incur a credit card processing fee of 3.95 per cent, Visa and MasterCard incur a credit card processing fee of 1.95 per cent (all GST inclusive). Deposits/Payments by EFTPOS or cash do not attract a fee.
Payments can be made directly to Xanadu Resorts Westpac Bank Trust account: BSB 034215 Account no 556730 - please provide your last name or booking number as a reference.
Change of Dates
Prior to arrival booking dates can be altered subject to availability and without penalty at the discretion of Management. Accommodation rates will be adjusted accordingly.
Upon arrival booking dates can be extended dependent upon availability however there will be no refund for early departures
Low Season: a AUD200 cancellation fee will apply when a booking is cancelled within 3 days of the arrival date.
* Advance Purchase or special rate bookings must be paid in full and are non refundable.
Mid Season (including Easter, school holidays, Gold Coast Marathon and V8 street car event ) when a booking is cancelled within 14 days of the arrival date, the guest will forfeit his/her full deposit and if no-show, the guest is liable for 100% of the reservation.
High Season (including Christmas/New Year) when a booking is cancelled within 28 days of the arrival date, the guest will forfeit his/her full deposit and if no-show, the guest is liable for 100% of the reservation.
No shows and cancellations after check-in - the deposit will be forfeited and liable for 100% of the reservation.
If after arrival clients are dissatisfied with any aspect of their accommodation and decide to terminate their stay, the amount to be refunded, if any is at the discretion of the property management

NB: If charges are due as a result of a cancellation these charges will be applied to the credit card number provided to secure your booking, or deducted from any cash deposit made.

Management will retain the right to apply additional charges to a guest account either during or after a stay in the following instances:
For cleaning fees that have been applied by the contracted cleaning company due to a room being left in an excessively dirty condition or due to damage or odours will be passed on to the guest for payment
For repairs due to damage or vandalism
For false Fire Alarm Call outs
Loss of keys, security fobs or apartment fixtures and fittings
No Party Policy
All apartments occupied will be for accommodation use only and are not designed for party/function use. We have a zero tolerance in respect to offensive behaviour including excessive noise, property damage, unlawful acts etc. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in police involvement/eviction.
In most cases, children's' prices for accommodation featured in the brochure or the website refer to children occupying the same apartment with at least one adult and using existing bedding. Additional charges will apply if extra beds or linen (including roll away beds and cots) are required.
All Clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
The property has the right to refuse any booking, when the legal guardian over 18 cannot provide a current photo id or proof of guardianship, if requested on check-in.
Property room photos may not be specific to actual room allocated. Photos are indicative only.
Views and features within each category of accommodation may vary.
They endeavour to honour any requests you may have made for your accommodation but they can never fully guarantee requests such as room numbers, floor levels or room locations.
How To Get There:
Xanadu Main Beach Resort is situated at 59 Pacific Street, Main Beach, Queensland, 4217, Australia.
Heading south-east on Gold Coast Highway, take the first left onto Tedder Avenue, turn right onto Woodroffe Ave, then turn left onto Pacific Street. Xanadu Main Beach Resort will be located on the right.
Xanadu Main Beach Resort is a 35 minute drive from Coolangatta (Gold Coast) Airport or a 60 minute drive from Brisbane Domestic/International Airport. There is also a convenient rail-air link to Brisbane Airport - AirTrain.
There are limo/taxi/bus and coach transfers available from either airport.
Please ask them about organising your airport transfer.
For after hours check contact property directly to make arrangements. A valid credit card is required on check in.
When you arrive at Xanadu Main Beach Resort please make your way to the East Tower - nearer the beach, where Reception is located.
Use the intercom panel at the front entrance and dial 200 and then press the 'bell' button for at least two seconds. Please announce yourself to the operator who will give you a three digit code to activate the safe. The front door will open automatically.
The key safe is located on the right hand end of the Reception Desk. Enter the three digit code enter into the safe keypad and press 'B', turn the knob to open the safe door. Please identify the envelope with your surname on and remove it from the safe.
Then close the safe door and turn the knob anti-clockwise to close and lock the safe. The envelope will contain keys and further details for you to find your way to your apartment.
