Description

Wisteria Cottage is a place to put your feet up. It is quiet, relaxing and comfortable. The three stylishly-designed timber cottages nestle in bushland with sweeping views of the Wyberba Valley and feature all amenities for a memorable stay. The cottages have practical kitchens, barbecues and electric blankets plus glass fronted wood heaters for the cooler times of the year. Over a dozen of the Granite Belt's 50 plus wineries are within a ten minute drive. The nearest winery is just three minutes away. Adjacent is Girraween, one of Queensland's most stunning National Parks.

A generous basket of goodies, homemade jams, preserved fruit and home made baked bread delivered each morning is included in the tariff. Mid week specials apply all year round. Winery tours can be arranged. Also on the premises is Heavenly Chocolate, the only chocolate shop in the region, offering delectable hand crafted chocolates. The chocolates are made using imported Belgian covertures and the finest local ingredients. They also offer a tempting range of local and imported gourmet goodies. Enjoy one of the imported hot chocolates with a choice of 17 flavours or relax with an ice cream in the garden and watch the birds.

Cancellation Information:
Cancellation must be received 48 hours prior to arrival or a fee equal to 50 per cent of the deposit held will be charged. Cancellation prior to this cut off point will attract an administration fee.

Restrictions:
A minimum of two nights stay applies for all long weekends and a minimum of three nights stay is required over Easter.

How To Get There:
The property is located five kilometres from the New England Highway on Pyramids Road that goes into and through Girraween National Park. Turn off 28 kilometres south of Stanthorpe. The Cottages are sign posted from the New England Highway.

Tariff Information:
Between Monday and Thursday, stay four nights for the price of three, or three nights for the price of two.

Lavender Cottage

Lavender cottage has been sited to take the greatest advantage of the local environment. It is of solid timber construction with vertical Tallowood boards as external cladding. The bedrooms feature queen size in the main and two singles in the second bedroom. All beds are fitted with electric blankets and down doonas. The living area has a generous double sofa bed. The kitchen has a refrigerator, microwave, gas cooking and barbecue facilities are outside. There is a glass fronted wood heater in the living area for the cooler times of the year. The full length verandah is the perfect place for the family to enjoy quality time in a peaceful rural setting.

Rose Cottage is of timber construction with large viewing windows in the living area. It has been sited to take advantage of the local environment including the rising of the full moon and early morning winter sun. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom with electric blankets and down doona. The living area has a large and extremely comfortable sofa bed. The kitchen has a microwave, refrigerator, gas cooking and gas barbecue on the full length verandah. For the cooler times of the year there is a glass fronted wood heater in the living area. Rose Cottage is perfect for a couple for the complete weekend or mid week escape.

Daisy Cottage is a split level studio cottage designed for a couple. It has all timber construction with large viewing windows in the living area overlooking the inspiring Wyberba valley. The bedroom has a queen size bed complete with electric blanket and down doona. The kitchen has a refrigerator, microwave, gas cooking and a gas barbecue is outside. The living area features a glass fronted wood heater for the cooler times of the year. Daisy Cottage is perfect for an intimate weekend or mid week escape. It is a wonderful place to enjoy a relaxing drink while watching the local grey kangaroos and wallabies in their natural habitat. Daisy Cottage has provided the setting for a number of marriage proposals and anniversary celebrations.
