Located in the heart of the Misty Mountains, The Pond Cottage is fully self-contained and is approximately 200 metres from the host's home, and completely private with its own driveway and parking. It is the ideal base while exploring the walking tracks or the Atherton Tablelands. The 14 acre property is pet friendly for well behaved pets and is a land for wildlife site. The Cottage veranda overlooks the platypus pond, and birdlife and wildlife are numerous. The 940 metre elevation ensures a temperature drop as the sun sets making a welcome relief from the otherwise low humidity tropical climate.

From Ravenshoe, follow the sign from the junction of Kennedy Highway and Tully Falls Road to the property which is approximately eight and a half kilometres from the junction.
