Shantara Resort and Spa Port Douglas are new boutique apartments for couples, positioned central to Four Mile Beach, shops and restaurants of Macrossan Street as well as being a short stroll to the Marina.

The One Bedroom Apartments and Studio Rooms have been fitted out with quality furniture and fittings. The Apartments have large spa baths, separate shower, king bed, full kitchen and large living area. Hotel Rooms are great for that short stay, queen bed, kitchenettes, and shower recess only, ground level rooms connect to a pool deck, and four apartments have jacuzzis in private courtyards and pool deck access.

There are two large saltwater swimming pools, one of which is heated in the winter months and cooled in the summer; the second pool is connected to the barbecue area for guests to enjoy on balmy nights. Further features include an equipped gymnasium and day spa for massages. Shantara Port Douglas is exclusive to couples that are looking for serenity, with personal and friendly service. They welcome children from the ages of 16.

Cancellation Information:
All bookings are subject to the following cancellation policy: Cancellations must be received in writing by email or fax, to Shantara Resort Port Douglas. Cancellations will not be deemed to be received until you have written confirmation from Shantara Resort Port Douglas. If you have not received acknowledgement within two days, please contact Shantara Resort by phone.
Cancellations received 30 days or more prior to the arrival date - the deposit will be refunded in full less a AUD50.00 administration fee. The administration fee covers the cost of processing the booking, receipting the booking and banking the money, cancelling the booking from the system, processing refund via electronic medium and meeting bank charges.
Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the arrival date will forfeit the full deposit paid.
Cancellations received seven days or less to the arrival date, or amendments to the booking, or failure to arrive at the hotel, a cancellation fee of the full amount of the booking will be charged (that is if booked for five nights then five nights' accommodation will be charged). There is no refund for early departures and a full accommodation cost will be incurred. This policy is applied to cover the distinct possibility of their inability to relet the room at that late a stage. Should the room be relet a refund of the booking difference will be applied.

How To Get There:
Fly into Cairns airport, approximate one hour drive on a coastal road. The Shantara Team can organise transfers (extra charge) or car hire. Turn right off the Cook Highway onto Port Douglas Road, which continues to Davidson Street. Property is located on left hand side of Davidson Street, 400 metres from Macrossan Street.

Opening Hours:
Reception is open from 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. weekdays, 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Saturday and 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. Sunday.
